What we collect

When you contact us by email or through any form on this site, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Any other information you choose to include in your message

We do not use cookies or analytics on this website at present. If we add either in future, we will list them here and seek your consent where required.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, to provide services if you become a client, and to keep records of the work we have done for you. Our lawful bases are:

• Legitimate interests — replying to your enquiry.
• Contract — delivering services you have engaged us for.
• Legal obligation — keeping accounting and tax records.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of third-party providers to operate our business — for example email hosting, cloud storage and accounting software — and your data may be processed by them under their own privacy policies. We only share data with these providers as needed to deliver our service to you.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it remains useful for the conversation or relationship, typically up to 24 months. Client records are kept for the duration of our engagement and for the period required by law (typically 6 years for tax purposes). We delete data sooner on request, where we are not required by law to retain it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Object to or restrict how we use it
• Receive a copy of it in a portable format
